Phobia (4/7)
Brenda, Mark, and I went to Phobia last night. Debra stayed home with the kids so she could have alone time with Shane. It was kind of odd since it was the first time that Brenda has ever driven us to the Spring4th Center for an event. Normally Debra drives, whether because shes going as well or because shes dropping us off with the intent to join us later. Despite Debras absence, we had a really great time.
Highlights:
1. There were a lot of performances but they were short and sweet. I tend to lose interest in fetish performances pretty quickly if they are drawn out much. Maybe Ive just seen too many of them but Im kind of jaded when it comes to such performances. So I only really enjoy them if theyre brief and to the point.
2. I had some decent conversations with people Id never really talked to before. Its nice to know I havent completely forgotten how to talk to new people when I really try.
3. I was able to get some of my anxiety about Frolicon off my chest thanks to some of the understanding ears to be found. Im really stressed out about Frolicon because its going to stretch us really thin financially and Final Fantasm had been kind of a bust for me. Debra really has her heart set on it, though, and I think Brenda will get a lot out of it too.
4. Brendas breasts. Whenever she danced they came out of her corset and eventually she just shed her top and wandered the venue topless.
Lowlights:
1. There was this guy named James who was a friend of Trixie and Gene that ended up getting kicked out. Hed been acting like a scumbag all night and I was glad to see him go. Earlier in the evening Debra had messaged Trixie on MSN and James was on Trixies computer and he talked about wanting to have sex with her, having never even met her. He tried to use that kind of charm on pretty much every female patron of night and being rather aggressive even when dealing with women making it very clear they werent interested.
2. Rushing out the door to try to beat the weather home. The storm was making everyone nervous and we bolted for home when we saw an opening.
