Well, I'll be. Update time!
Sorry I've not 'physically' been around an awful lot lately (although I have periodically popped by...). Many thanks for all the birthday wishes and comments. It's been very heartning to see.
I'd really like this journal to be a massive "ALL WOT I AVE DUN" type of update but to be perfectly honest, not much has changed. The band has split... RIP DOGBOY (Not ACTUALLY dead, by the way). Still making second rate band t-shirts for the lowest price. SO its more of a "YES I'M STILL ALIVE" sort of entry. I hope you are all well yourselves.
I've had a great day excavating an archaeological site behind my house with the "Time Team" channel four prog. I was most at home with a tiny trowel and a bucket of soil and victorian pottery. Apparently though not more than 100 yards behind where I currently sit is the most complete "double ditch" roman road outside of Norfolk. See, people have been trying to get out of this dump since 100AD. I also found out the Roman name for manchester is effectively TIT-FORT. As for Wigan (1 days march away) is Coccium...
hehe. Pretty damn cool eh?
So, my one piece of remotely interesting news out of the way I will shamelessly pad this journal out with rubbish (those of you who are getting a little bored may head somewhere else now, dont worry. I wont get cross
Have I bought any albums recently? Erm. No. Have I been to any gigs recently? A couple. Pretty good ones too. The Surgens being one in particular. Good bluesy rock and roll resplendent with saw player!
So thats about it. It might not signal my immediate return, but I WILL pop by at least once a week now the insanely busy time in werk is tailing off.
