Its update time. Been rather too long I think.
Not too much to report if I'm being honest. Theres atill the ongoing saga at the hospital with Dad. He's been moved round more than I'd care to think, but on the whole he's still progressing well. Still not time to update my photo over there (to the marginally more happy one
), but I'm a little more hopeful it won't be long off.
I got really ill last weekend, so it's been a joy to be back at full-ish weekend mode. I was far to busy chucking to do anything much, so it's a blessed relief to head into Manchester for a few beers. I DID have a fair few last night, fair-dos. I don't think I overdid it anyway
I hope you're all well and relishing in the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness etc. Its been shite hasn't it? That extra hour in bed last sunday for nights of pitch black at 4.30... Cheers guys.
It's been really odd. Dad was far too ill to have any visitor other than his immediate family, but now the legionnaires is pretty much gone, he's had a huge stream of family members we last saw at my Christening to work collegues absolutely petrified Dads going to opt for early retirment and leave em in the shito...
Been nice to see a few more new faces anyway.
Mmmmm. American election...? I'd rather not get embroiled in the whole sordid affair, but nevertheless, my American friends have my sympathies. The only plus point is at least Bush is GONE after this term. He knows it, lets hope the US isn't saddled with too horrible a legacy. We'll be there for you in 2008, guys
Have I got anything else to add at this juncture? Erm. Nope. I think I'll go and have another go on Doom3. I know, I know...
