Might be letting my account expire soon. Theres a good month or so left before it does, so who knows, maybe it will win back a place in my affections in that time.
YOU lot will never leave my affections, I think you're all great, but lately it seems like journal updating is a real chore. I've got so little in common with the majority of the the SG community. I feel guilty about contributing to any threads on the boards as when I do, they instantly die and drop off the active topics list.
I suppose I feel a little isolated being stuck in quite a 'work' related routine. The UK SG gang are VERY London focussed and it'd be really tricky to get down there more that once or twice a year. Frankly, I doubt any of the regulars in The Ship would even know of me. There's no reason why they should either, mind you. Again it comes down to weighing up my contributions to the active topics in the group... Why is it, that all the people I seem to share things in common with are in America or Australia?
I think I might just stow away on the next ship out of Kings Dock (errrr.. 2060??).
I totally appreciate all the wonderful people I've met through this site, in particular the lovely folk who stop by this journal. I'll be passing by all your journals and keeping in touch, never fear!
You all know where I'll be, propping up the bar in the Star & Garter drinking some foul bottled beer and being generally aimiable. I'll buy you one if you like... Take care, now won't you?
It's time to hang up my keyboard and become the true techno-luddite I always knew I was! Now, I know I've got a Whitworth socket-set somewhere amongst all this crap...
ii Hasta Luego amigos !!
