Seasons of mist and mellow fruitfulness, is it then? Damn near felt like winter this morning.
How is everyone? Bloody quiet in this corner of SG innit? maybe if I spent a little more time perusing the ol' journals and less time scrabbling around for the sleep I seem to need lately.
Sorry it's been so long. The weekend was a blast. Let's just say it was nothing if not entertaining (eh dogboy ? ) It was party time in the lads honour.. Fair do's, some beer was consumed on Friday. Coupled with very little sleep and round two on saturday, let's just say I painted Eccles red when I got off the tram (and green, blue, orange and yellow ).
Bought the final piece I need for my bike! The headlamp brackets! yaaaay. Slight problem, they're attached to the rest of the front end. Forks, springs gaiters and hub (which I really DIDN'T need!). Strangely, I WON'T be carrying them back from the post office over the six bridges. I'll have to get a fookin' taxi.
Had a really good practice on sunday. The songs are actually sounding like stuff we could gig (SUCCESSFULLY) with! I'm a happy bunny. Speaking of music, my double bass still hasn't arrived. Apparently, the German company rang up asking how I'd like the neck set up. The lovely guys at our practice rooms took the correct guess of punk and rockabilly, which suits me just fine. The only problem is there's a time delay in shipping. Buggeration.... Patience, Greg, patience!
Seems we're all going through a bit of the old S.A.D (no dogboy NOT S.O.D!!! ). Going to wish you all some rays of sunshine and happiness and all that bollocks. Going to get me some tea and shut the bloody windows.
ii Hasta Luego !! (or something)
