Ah, roll on friday.. Oh, it IS friday... Well, since it's here I can finally relax. It's been a tough week. Got through it OK...
Unlike my little fish Yes, folks my fresh water minnow which lived in a cube on my desk has finally snuffed it. An amazing 3 years and 6 months old, he lived rather longer than the 18 months I was promised. I can't really complain, only I now have an empty cube. His buddy Shady died at around 18 months, so Slim was doin' pretty good. I think in fish years he was 398.
RIP Slim.. He swam. He died...
Other than that, its going pretty well. Last Sunday I was in the company of the girl who 'turns me to mush' tm. It was her birthday and I found she had moved back from barrow in somewhat of a hurry. Shes inherited a house from a relative and quit her job to move back. We went up to the standing stones at Anglezark lake near Bolton. Up on the moors theres a beautiful tranquility despite being able to see three cites in the distance. We had a picnic and taunted some sheep. Most enjoyable.
Anyway, Im going to check my pile of ska mp3s coming in so I will draw this entry to a premature end. I could go on... You know I could Loads of love to you all!
greg/vampsinthe @_@
ps.. I'm really happy for geronimo. I don't know him too well other than corresponding through SG and a VERY brief 'hello' last year. The lads not had the best of luck and now things are lookin' somewhat more rosy indeed! Wahey... Im off......
