Happy Easter, you lot!
Hope you got loads of choccies and are enjoying a little time out this sunday.
This weekend has been really busy. All socialising, of course. Managed to get all my work done Thursday, like the consumate professional I am (haha). It was a bit of a push getting the full colour image of Duran Duran on the back of the tour tshirt. It took longer than I had allowed to try and make the old buggers looks vaguely youthful from their press release image. It looked good though in the end.
Horrifyingly, I couldn't make it out with the SG lot in Manchester on Friday. I hope it was as much fun as it seemed. I hope to arrange a bit of an un-official non-jillys SG night soon. See a bit of the underground debauchery going on. I was stuck in the sticks (admittedly with my lovely friends from Widnes). The trains were on the newly revised shithead bank holiday timetable so I couldn't have got anywere..
Went to see 'Shaun of the Dead' on Friday, to keep my mind off the SG night at Jilly's. Good, good and thrice the goodness. I urge you to see this film. I can't recommend it enough. For anyone reading this from outside the UK, IGNORE any previous British comedy films starring such luminaries as [shudder] Hugh Grant [/shudder]... This film is fine slice of British cyniciscm
Saturday was great fun. Went out to the ol' Manc at last. Ended up in Tiger Lounge. A favourite little night from our dim and distant past. It had moved frm the retrobar basement to Slice, next to the town hall. Can Greg spell the word SNAZZY?? Fishtanks and lovely neon panel walls? Fluffy leopard-skin round the cast iron columns. I'll have some of that, thankyou!
Company was great (yum yum) x
Text me again, please. I forgot to save your number, like a big dimwit
I'm off out again shortly to blast round some muddy woods on me mountain bike. I can't really make practice again because of a) no public transport and b) really awkward time of practice..
So, I hope you all gorge on many choccies and have a great day.
Catch up with you soon! xXxXx
