It's about time I shifted that rubbish out of the way...
I'm starting to feel a little less ill, now. I managed to shift the heavy-cold/flu pukeyness yesterday, so I'm feeling a lot brighter and alive!
I stayed over at my friends house in Widnes again yesterday. It's getting a little strange. We played cards til early in the morning, because neither of us could sleep very well. She's been prescribed some sleeping tablets which have some unpronouncable name (never mind spelling the bloody things). She took 'em and we played til they started to kick in. It seems to put things into perspective when you dwell on problems so much it begins to disrupt your sleeping. I think she's one of those people who are very good at masking her feelings with good PR. She's always the centre of attention and great fun to be around. A love her loads. At least this friend has seen the other, more vulnerable side to her... I'm hoping she knows she can turn to me for whatever she needs...
I've been reasonably lucky in the way I'm a virtual narcoleptic. When the mood takes me I can drop off whenever. Just so happens I have mild asthma and the combination of the chemical works in Widnes and my mates cats set me off and I had no inhalers. I had to stay awake or face the wrath of the 'death-head-ache' in the morning... Yup, waiting around in someone else's house with nothing but the four walls to stare at gives me a lot of thinking time. Shame I can't remember what I was thinking about.
I did manage to get an hour or two's worth of kip. Bloody nightmare nicked any of the benefit though. It's the first one I've had in about 10 years, since I'm normally cheery and 'full of beans'. Mind you, I'm not sure that has anything to do with it... Does anyone have nightmares about technology and superpowers going out of control? I did. This was vivid and devastatingly destructive... What's more annoying is I nearly solved a very poignant (and relevant) political problem. Before I woke up of course
Not really sure what to write about next. Nothing much seems to be happening in my life at the mo. We decided on rolling the band practices and audtions out again. Should soon be doing gigs in a month or two. At least thats something to look forward to...
AND, of course, meeting up with you lot, naturally. I do believe my crystal ball will reveal some travelling to various meets and stuff, what do you reckon?
Ah well, I still have a mountain of chocolates to wade through from christmas. I'll save you some!
Look after each other! I've decided friends are some of the most precious things we have in this world. You're all very important to me!

And PS If you're looking for some long since deleted glam metal stuff, you could do a lot worse than try here
Fuck US law school. I wanna be a barrister!! I mean, the Magna Carta is the basis for everything we call law now anyway. Why not go to the source??
I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate run-in. In hospital for three days? That must've been terribly traumatizing. Curiously, how long did it take to get over your fear of dogs? Wait. Weren't you just attacked by a goose or something, too?
