What the heck is going on? I know I've been shirking my journal duties recently but... Crazy! I'm 80% sure I saw issie on the 68 bus through Buile Hill today. I pop on the site to ask if she's back from NY at the mo... GONE! Just like that. Didn't even say goodbye! I hope she comes back soon! My friends list is getting shorter by the day! What with djscalliwag too, I don't think I can take much more!
I hope my remaining friends are doing fine? I'm not so bad. I had a job centre review, which officially puts me in the category of UNEMPLOYABLE. Maybe Tony 'new deal' Blair will pay for me to re-train as a stone mason, so I can work as a poorly paid artisan on some giant crumbling cathedral somewhere picturesque? Can't hurt... There's fook all graphic design jobs outside of London. Its all maintaining someone elses shithouse website and typing up text into a preformed brochure template. Oh well, at least I found my education was a waste of time EARLY on into my working career.
Saturday was a very good gig. I went to see Zombina & The Skeletones play the Queens Hall in Widnes. There was a great dancehall atmosphere (in an original 1920s dancehall too) and cool costumes, as you would expect and quite a few of my mates turned up. It's looking good for our band to play a forthcoming gig with them in the not too distant future, which put a lovely, beaming grin on my face like this --->
I've been painting ceilings today and my arms, neck and back ache to buggery, so I think I'll make this a (pretty) short entry.
Have loads of fun.. I'm going on a big MTB mudblast tomorrow, probably to the wet-earth colliery or Crompton Lodges. See you all soon, my lovely but dwindling friends xxx v78 @_@

oh man both of those are both so distressing and this is the first i've heard about them being gone. oh man that sucks... i was coming over here all happy and bllushing that you want to see my naked butt (i saw that thread) and i find two of my good friends on here are inactive. maybe that just means their account has gone grey not that they quit the site all together. let's cross our fingers and toes that they reactivate really soon.
New Deal is the biggest pile of crap ever. I know because 1. I've been on New Deal and 2. because I've worked for the Job Centre. From both points of view it's a waste of time... it's only there to shove people into jobs they don't want to do.
When I was on New Deal I was forced onto "bookkeeping" and "IT" courses, despite the fact I'm a practical whizkid at computers and I hate bookkeeping... all because they were the types of jobs (office work) that are plentiful and they can shove me into. They're quite honest with it working like that behind the scenes too.
I wasn't allowed onto New Deal for musicians because all the rest of my band were over 25 and 2 were employed and after I was "found" employment I found out that I could have had them pay for me to go on a week long piercing course to become a piercer!!!! GEIGH!!
Anyways... I hope things look up for you soon
