It's time I typed some stuff on here. Things have been pretty quiet since last week. I've been pretty lonely out here. Other than riding my bike and working in the garden I haven't been doing an awful lot. Mainly down to lack of funds, trips out are a definite no no. It's pretty staggering that I've managed to last nearly two months on 52 a week. Good job my kind benefactors (Mum and Dad) are so supportive.
This really is a 'killing a few minutes' type of journal entry, so if you get bored before you reach the bottom, don't worry!! I won't get upset or anything. I've got the job in Buxton (the one I had as a second choice). The one in Wigan evaporated, as expected. It was pretty mean of them to give me the date for the round of second interviews already knowing that it wouldn't be me... Employers can be bastards though, I'm not going to delude myself thinking they care about FUTURE employees welfares.
Yes. You heard correctly! Not only am I out of the LONDON social SG scene, I'll be moving out of the North west one too. I'll be relocating to lovely Derbyshire. Once I settle my debts with the folks, I'm going to look at renting a little cottage up in the hills. If any of you fancy a weekend in the Peak District with me, throwing snowballs, sledging and sampling my fine range of home made soup, you are quite welcome to come up and visit. It'll be my first Christmas away from my home town. How odd will that be?
It's got a little quiet on here now you studenty types have gone back to Uni. It must be pretty tricky to update your journals and go browsing with your History of Art and Design lecturer standing just behind you, eh? Anyway, I hope you have a productive semester and get BLIND drunk on cheap bitter.
I don't think i've got much else to say. I spent the past few days carving a trefoil into a wooden gatepost and putting the house number on a little prism thingy in the middle. It doesn't obey the classic neo-gothic preportions, but then again, I couldn't give a shit. It'll be covered in ivy in a week or two, same as everything else.
I'll leave you about your business now. I've got things to do myself, really. Got to brush up on my design skills. I'm going to have to use them in my battle for independance up in the hills. I'll be all alone too, my friends will be a couple of hours drive away. Ugh. I'm getting scared now.... As always, I'll keep you all informed via this nice little portal.
Take care and have a fantastic week, everyone. I love you all x @_@ v78 xxx xxx xxx

Be sure to pop into Derby occasionally to avail yourself of the excellent Reveal Records shop.
I thoroughly recommend any and all gigs at the Vic Inn too, just opposite the train station. Handy, that.
You'll adapt to the Buxton life easily, knowing you. Just don't forget to make regular forays into the neighbouring cities to keep yourself sane.
Put me down on the list of future visitors. We can set up a still round the back of your rural idyll and brew up potato gin for the cold winter nights.
