Hiya all....
A bit of sobering few days to report really, Im afraid. Thursday night, practice was cancelled because mates were waiting at our rehearsal rooms to tell us Kev, our drummer had come off his motorbike. Of course, noone could get in touch with Kev, and the story had been round the Warrington rumour mill by then. As it happened his bike wasn't shaped like a letter 'n' and he THANKFULLY HADNT lost any limbs. He does have a really bad break in his drumming/wanking arm and a weird compound fracture in his right ankle. The bike will probably be back on the road soon. They built those CM125's fucking tough!!! I think the round-about won, kev... Dont try jumping them again....
Just about coping, still in a reasonable good mood, beleive it or not...
Also, I've just come back from the funeral of an uncle i was pretty close to. The family's resident biker. I think he was the only member of our side of the family to approve of me buying a bike. He was in a smash about ten years ago and it was a medical cockup to treat re-occurring symptoms which took him.. You'll be missed Uncle 'knucklehead' Al...

Y'know Vampsinthe, I'm actually scared of bikes?
Condolences on your uncle Al, these things are never good.
On a lighter note though, my chances of turning up in Manchester next week are looking good. Now it's all down to whether I can get the Friday afternoon off work, otherwise the trains down just ain't feasible. Wish me luck. Maybe I should talk to Cakemix about sharing a hotel.
