Ugh. What a week it's been. I just got home saturday night from RI. I've been caring for my rat Yahtzu as she is still grieving the loss of my other rat Ksusha. She also has to get antibiotics every 8 hours, just to be on the safe side. She hates getting them. Not that she doesn't like the taste (it's cherry) but she doesn't like being held in place and having a syringe forced into her mouth...which is understandable. she needs two weeks of this, so it'll be done next Wed. She's got a follow up at the vet tomorrow so I'm hoping everythings alright. It should be.
In other news, two of my best friends got into a bad car accident last night. I only found out about it today. they were on their way hone from NJ and got rearended. My friend Missy and I were sure how bad the accident was, but found out later that Dan needed 22 stiches in his face and Nikki broke 4 ribs and had a punctured lung (apparently it healed though). Dan's brand new pickup was also totalled. And Nikkis birthday is on the 4th. Tomorrow Missy and I are bringing them chocolate cake and flowers. Hopefully, this will be the last bad thing to happen for a while.

Hope Yahtzu checks out okay. My friend Kathryn is a vet student, she has a few rats too and loves them very much. They're very neat critters.
