So, I'm feeling a bit better that I'm home now, but I need to tell you about how my day sucked anyway...
I was anxious to get back to work today and see Desirae, that kid is so fucking adorable ^_^ I was on my way out the door at 7, when my cell rang. It was the sub coordinater who informed me that it was decided that I could no longer be Desiraes aid because I missed yesterday and they need someone more "reliable". !!!!!!! In the message I left yesterday I explained my situation - this is not something that happens often. this is the FIRST time I have called in. I hope the new aid doesn't ever get sick or have a crisis of any kind because apparently she has to be superwoman and never miss a day. If I ever see her on the absent list, I am going to be so fucking angry. I was so excited to get back to work and just then something I cared about got ripped away from me.
I ended up subbing for some TA in the middle school. My day didn't get any better. No one knew her schedule so I basically just kept asking random teachers if they needed help. While I was photocopying some papers the principle walked into the room and yelled at me saying my shirt was too short.... ?! I was wearing a fucking teeshirt. Absolutely no skin was showing. He told me I had to wear my coat for the rest of the day. I hate the fucking middle school. No one there treats me with respect (except the lunch aids, they rock my socks!) and the principle is a fucking dick. And yeah, on top of that, I'm fucking sick of all the middle school boys hitting on me and harrassing me. grrrr...so yah. I'm no longer going to sub at the middle school. They'll be the ones missing out on a great teacher - the elementary school teachers and principal love me, so they'll be the ones getting their absences filled. HA! bitches...
