There is a technique that someone told me about that could work if you try it...
Just focus on an image, something with contrast, like a red rose on black paper. Then focus on putting yourself to sleep by doing it piece by piece. Start from each toe, foot, ankle, shin, etc. Until you get to the top of your head. I mean, you don't need to focus hard, just relax and put it into your mind. And ONLY that into your mind, nothing else. Each part should take at least 5 minutes. Try not to rush it. But it's important that you do what you think is comfortable and natural. Don't force yourself to focus for 5 minutes exactly. Do enough that you're cool with it.
And breathe. You don't need to be conscious of breathing, but do savor the air that you receive.
