finally got a long enough chance to post.
thursday my dog, sam, had to be put down.
she was a great dog and blessed my family and i for many years.
i plan on going down and rescuing another great dog to keep my other, riley, company.
i ask that any of you who plan on getting a puppy or dog please save one from a pound or shelter before thinking about going to a breeder. i know many people want a specific breed and "perfect" dog but muts and mixes can be even more smarter and more loyal. please adopt a new friend in need of a home.

its terrible about sam...but rescue dogs are the best, every animal i have had has been a stray or pound friend and they are always great...fishing must have been fun!
