Ok, so it's come time for service awards, meaning all of us get some sort of award for doing our jobs correctly in this god-forsaken country. If you didn't do your job correctly you might still get an award because it makes the Highers look good.
All awards ceremonies are scheduled for 1630 (4:30pm). I work nights so that is literally in the middle of my sleeping. Being that everyone that works night shift was had the same ceremony we argued to have it moved to a later time. We were told no because it is the Commanders discretion and he wants it at 1630 so suck it up. Ok fine.
.......the Commander was late...... he didn't even give us our awards..... then he got mad that his next in line gave out the awards..... because there were like 50ish people waiting for the ceremony.
Did you get that....The fucking Commander who wouldn't even consider changing the time because it woke us up in the middle of our sleep (and we did have to work that night) didn't even make it to the fucking ceremony.
By the way, these awards and ceremonies are for the people giving them not the ones receiving them, because who gives a shit if they want 40 people there watching or not.
Other than that....I'm in single digit days for the countdown on leaving...FUCK YEAH!!!
