I'm quitting smoking. Other than a few years here and there, I've been smoking for about 15 fucking years. Jesus. That's fucking disgusting.
Last three days I tapered off the rest of my pack (allotted myself max of 2 a day). Managed to be all around loopy but was also able to lock myself out of my place. Got stuck sitting in the hallway because leaving meant being outside with no way in. Finally my neighbor came home and I climbed over the balconies to my own.
Today is day one of no smoking at all.
And I have a date tonight.
I am nervous yet hopeful for both.

That's good. Thinking about how much money you will save from no more cigarrette purchases and oxygen tanks in the future should be inspiration enough to fight the beast. Enough to be a 21st century woman and pay for your date
