So, 6 freaking days to go.
These last 2 weeks have been awesome becuase I decided to go big and end with a fun project.
Week ago Tuesday I had the school officer come in and arrest one kid each period (walked in, called the kid, handcuffed him/her, walked out). Freaked everyone out but it was the best way to start the mock court case. Our trial date is set for this Thursday and Friday. My mom is coming in Friday to be the judge. My kids better not fuck up!!
At the same time, I'm organizing kids to run the lower class's field day that I used to be part of. I just can't seem to let go! What that means is that i'm a total nutcase right now. Oh well, it's worth it. I think.
Once that's all done and the kids have left the building, I clean my damn room (my goal is to be done in one week) and have 4 weeks to do nothing but sit on my ass. Ok, hopefully I'll get all that crap done that I've been putting off. My car needs some love baaaad.
Then I'm off to visit back east for a little over 4 weeks of 3 different institutes. Yep, I'll be learning about history the entire time, working my ass off. I love learning, I'm such a nerd. 
The other day I realized that when I get back, I'll only have 2 weeks of vacation left!!! Are you kidding? We have one entire week of school to start, before Labor day!
Whateves, this year is ending well in every part of my life, I should shut the hell up about not getting enough days off. But then, that IS one of the reasons I do this job making crap for pay. I could NEVER work through the summer!!
Anyone have exciting plans coming up?

That's pretty cool - I looked at them, but chose not to go as I am working this summer and will be teaching ancient civilizations next year. Perhaps next summer, instead. Enjoy yourself while in town - there's lots to see and do.
