Hey All,
I hope you're all doing well and having a fantastic week so far. I'm sorry I've been so absent over the last few months, between work and being sick and then recovery from the surgery, life's been a little bit hectic and exhausting. Good news is the surgery went well, I'm still recovering but getting better everyday and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll be fully healed.
As most of you have seen my set Limoncello with @coolicio came out. I'm so pleased that you all liked it and it has done way better than I ever imagined. I was very nervous about it coming out, I know I'm not the typical body type on here and that I'm 'plus sized' but all the love and support you guys have shown me has meant the absolute world to me. I really wish I had the time to thank you all individually, but thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you guys so much!
My next set 'Life is Sweet' with @victory is currently sitting at 3 months and 3 weeks until it comes out. Here is one of my favourite shots from this set.
The next set after that is with @captureofcthulhu, we haven't named it yet but we're looking at submitting at the end of April. If anyone has any name suggestions, feel free to send them my way. Here's one of my favourite shots from this one too.
I can't wait for you guys to see these ones! There will be more sets to come after these too, I'm shooting another at the start of April which I'm really excited about.
I've missed a lot of blog homework lately too, so here are some of the homework topics from @missy @rambo and @lyxzen.
Whats on your bucket list?
Honestly I've never really thought about a bucket list before and I really struggled to think of what would be on it. I probably should have more things that I'm desperate to do but the thing that I've been stuck on for some time is travel. I moved back home with my parents in August so I could save money to travel which I've done a bit of, but I've stilled booked my trip which is exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. I always hated hearing other peoples travel stories because I was so jealous that I couldn't do that, now this time I'll be the one people are jealous of if I do it right haha.
My plan is to go to the US for 3 months (may - July) then back home for a month and then off again to the UK and Japan in September.
I've started booking my US stuff, so it's getting waaaaaay more real now and I'm going to try and cram as much as I can into 3 months without making it too ridiculous.
The cities I'm planning on visiting are Louisville, Nashville, Memphis, Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, New York, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas and LA. There might be some others thrown in there as well, just whatever I can work into my schedule. If any of you lovely SG friends are in any of these cities and want to show an Aussie around, please let me know. I'm going to try and line up some shoots while I'm there too if I can afford them.
The UK will mostly be hanging out with my friends and visiting some family, but again if any lovely SG friends are there then hit me up. Japan is for my Dad's birthday so it will be some family time and then some exploring in the craziness.
Definitely crossing off my bucket list item this year and pushing myself way out of my comfort zone.
Tell us a love story
You may have seen me vaguely mention someone in a few blog posts in the past but I want to tell the story of us so far.
Back in November on a particularly low day I was looking through my instagram and saw this guy had liked my pictures who I thought was extremely handsome so I jumped on his page and was being a little bit of a creeper. We liked a few pictures of each other and left a few comments and it made me smile so much, I thought he was so cute and sweet but thought I'd never have a shot with someone like him. Little did I know he'd already sent me a private message, so we started chatting and flirting and he was so incredible and soooooo handsome, but he lived 10,000 miles away which majorly sucked. We started chatting on the phone a few days later and then skyping when we could, we've been talking every day since and I've never felt this way about anyone. Falling in love with someone who is so far away is difficult but he treats me better than anyone I've ever dated before and he is the cutest, sweetest, most loving and supportive person I could ever hope to have in my life. There's 53 days to go until we meet each other in person and I could not be more nervous and excited. This love story isn't over yet but I really really hope that it has the happiest ending.
Well I think that's a long enough post from me today, I really hope I can be around more often.
