Well, we have been moved into the new house for almost 2 weeks now. I am having a hard time believing how much time has gone by already. It is amazing how much space we now have. It is about twice the size of our old house, plus we now have central air and a bathroom that doesn't have mold growing in it. The outside of this place looks rundown. In fact, one of my friends told me that she drove by this place while looking for a new place to rent and decided to not even come in based on the outside appearance. After seeing the inside once we had moved in, she was regretting her decision.

Both my parents decided to stop by for a visit yesterday. Thankfully, they were about 4 hours apart from each other. They both had their new significant others with them, and it potentially could have been very weird around here had they come at the same time. Dad was very impressed with how the place had looked. He helped us move, and saw this place when it had no carpet, bad floors, unclean, and boxes everywhere. He told me yesterday he was very unsure about our choices when he first saw the new place. Having seen the other, he now sees what we saw.
