Shit, dude. Well, I still don't know what crazy-ass illness I've got, but I do seem to be improving, so that's good. Still feels like there's a lump of mucous in my throat or something equally narsty, but my head has stopped hurting and the swelling in my lymph nodes has gone down a bit.
Fuck, I hate being sick. Especially when a) I have no idea what it is and b) I have no health care, which means any trip to the doctor costs me $100. This is what happens when you're not on Medicare in Canada and you've got no insurance in the U.S.
Somebody buy me some status for Christmas? I'm not asking for a Jaguar or a shitload of bling. I just want to be able to see a doctor for less than 3-digits up front (plus whatever prescriptions, tests, etc. that are ordered, of course) and get a decent effing job. Y'know, like other normal, law-abiding people?
