Woohoo! My second interview went much better. The place really does do phone-related interviews and market research, and they said there is paid training happening next week. So, I am supposed to email the guy I spoke to today on Monday to find out when exactly it's happening. If I survive training, they will decide whether I should work days or evenings, as day-time interviews are apparently tougher and involve talking to various businesses vs. night-time interviews that target people at home and ask them things like, "Hey, why did you switch from TD to Royal Bank?"
I had to read a script in my best phone voice, and I was complimented on my lack of Canadian accent. Hehe.
In other news, Fine Arts Boy is moving on July 1 and I have been recruited to help drive the van. Anybody who wants beer and pizza in exchange for lifting heavy things for about 5 hours is welcome. It's a short-distance move, just two blocks, but those are oddly the hardest. Everybody assumes you will just walk stuff over, therefore they don't actually need to help you out. As if! Anyways, that's how I'm going to be spending my Canada Day.
This weekend is production weekend for The Link's summer issue, so I will be holed up in the office for most of Sunday and possibly some of Saturday as well. I will definitely be doing layout on Monday, so don't even ask. Tuesday, however, I am totally free. Who wants coffee?
Oh! I almost forgot to mention that the ever-helpful Bp323 apparently has a bike wizard as a roommate, and he offered me a working bike made up of used and/or recycled parts. Sweet! Gotta love free things. Hopefully I will not have a damaging crash on this one. I haven't ridden my bike yet this summer, this is just crazy.

Can I blame it on you?
