i think i was born in the wrong era. i wish i could have been around in the 60's for when funk was at its best. or in the early 80's for when hip-hop was comin around up in nyc. that shit must of been hot.
well, i wish i were born in pretty much every era. looking for that time machine. how cool would it be to just live in an era until you were tired of it then go onto the next? yeah, life is so unfair. lol.
but, come on now, you must remember some of the early eighties hip hop, dont you? i do.
i had some pictures taken the other night. trying to work up the nerve to send them in...lol...i am scared.
hmm...time machine. yeah, that is a good idea. i remember the hip-hop from the 80's, but there is nothing quite like being there for it...ya know? i got hip-hop related dvd's from that area, and it just look liked it was the shit. ::sigh:: ah well.
lemme know if you need a second opinion on those pics.
hey killer! i had seen you online a couple of times, but my computer has been royally fucked and i was trying to fix it, so i had my away message on most of the time. anyway, it is now fixed and hopefully i will talk to you soon. something COOL is going on in chapel hill this weekend----elvisfest...ever heard of it? rockabilly, psychobilly, and punk bands. might head up there. take care.
we'll see if it gets the curious glances tomorrow when im out and about. im sure people will just think im gay because im wearing pink (this town has a complete lack of culture and a grasp on anything resembling individuality). fuck em. for some reason im on a hot pink kick at the moment. i dunno why though...
kitchen confidential has single handedly influenced me to get back into cooking and even attend a culinary school once ive severed all ties with the military. i cant wait!
dood!!! you are gay! what are you talking about.. i known you for what? how long now? haa haa!! i'm kidding i'm kidding! I'm glad you got your hoodie kid!! engoy!
i feel you on the meeting some cool people in this town. i have met some cool people...but most of them have left as well. all i seem to do is work as well. i really dont like the idea of hanging out at my work when im not working (ever!) though. i dont even like it when i am there. i guess you can say that i actually hate it. yeah, that sounds about right. or...whatever.
::sigh::
i need more things to do and more people to do it with.
lets see...
jenna - yeah, i can see her as an artist. she is a talented woman.
max - i wanna hit that guy in the face with a brick for hours on end.
Say What?????? what is up kid? not much going on here... i have move my court date from the 18th of this month to the 29th of Jan... so we'll see about that.. anyway!! i hope you are doing good and get rid of your sesonal depression....
When I got this SG account, I wondered what on earth I could type about in this journal (since, I too, have a livejournal) - then I just decided that Copy & Paste was invented for a reason
-- Oh yeah, and Women by Bukowski was good. Its the only one I've read by him.
