So when I got to the shop yesterday... The phone was working... I got half way through my lunch and it was no longer working...
So we called Embarq (I fucking HATE Sprint) and after calling the number fifty thousand times only to get a message saying "We are currently closed... yadda yadda yadda" we finally got through and had them forward all the shop phonecalls to my cell. About 7pm last night, the phone magically started working again, but again I couldn't get through to Embarq to have the forwarding discontinued...
So as of today, I got about 10 calls before noon asking how much it is to get your tongue pierced and if it hurts and if it will prevent them from having sex... and the like... I wanted to sleep in (and actually managed not to get out of bed until 12:30... ) but I was rudely interrupted by customers on my only weekend day off... and I have to tell them all that "no, we're not open, but yes, I answered your call..."... I would refrain from answering them, but then they are put through to my personal voicemail and that sucks... plus, I don't want to lose customers...
In more exciting news.... I got a raise yesterday!!!! That was exciting... But Bink also told me that when my year apprenticeship is over, it might be necessary for me to get a second job depending on business and the economy, but the shop probably wouldn't be able to keep me on full time if business is like it is right now... *shrugs* Hopefully I can get through the waiting list for this online tutoring company finally and that will be easy work that I can do with my piercings and determine how often I work based on need at the shop...
Mostly, I'm seriously excited that I'm doing a great job at the shop. Yay!!!!

Now if I can only get my damn apartment cleaned up by Halloween I'll be truly happy.... I have toooo much shiiiiiiit!!!!!

That's awesome that you got a raise but at least you have a while before things get serious and hopefully things turn around a bit by then. And judging by how many people were coming in yesterday while I was there you would never know business was slow but I guess it was an exception. And you got to love how the phone company isn't around to help you unless you wanted to pay your bill then im sure they would have answered that phone real fast. I tried to sleep in this morning also but my neighbor decided he was going to do yard work so I laid in bed until 12 after not sleeping much at all which sucked. The phone calls I'm sure were annoying, not sure I would have handled that to well but you are to nice to tell them off. Well hope you had a good day off, I got nothing done and I mean nothing, I guess I will start and salvage some of the day.
