Spider update:
I think I have taken care of the widow problem. And I signed up for yearly pest control... no help from my landlord:

"I went bye your residence personally over the weekend and took a paper towel ane removed some spider webs along with a onld wasp nest from your porch. We ARE NOT responsible for spiders and such outside the house and we will not be willing to reimburse you. However, to keep you happy I did go bye there and will do so again. Its not that hard to spray something, even some household cleaner or something, on them and they go away. Its FL. Your going to have to deal with insects on your porch unfortunately. That will be true wherever you go, even if the porch is screened in.

However, that said, I do want to try and keep you happy so drop me a line to let me know where exactly this infestation is and i'll drop bye next time I'm around.

There's a really cool silk-looking spider near the bus ramp at school. Everyday, when I take my kids to and from lunch, they always watch him.


In other news:
We went shopping today for stuff for our steampunk costumes. I found the boots I had been looking at online actually and had a chance to try them on. They fucking kick ass! And I went ahead and bought a corset for the outfit... it isn't the final draft... as in, it could be replaced if I find a better one... but you can't have too many corsets on hand.

Aside from stuff for my costume... I also bought a few cute shirts for cheap ('cause I'm a thifty bitch).
