So... everything is still good with the girlfriend (?) stuff. Victory spoils were awesome. She is, sadly, out of town this weekend, but I look forward to seeing her next week. I guess it is a good thing, it gives me time to play video games with Travis and actually--hopefully--accomplish something productive this weekend. I really need to do laundry and grade some papers.

Last night, we got to see some lecture by Bruce Campbell and it was pretty funny. And I learned some strange Florida history... and had a demonstration of where the buttocks are located on the human body based on Florida legal terms. I was horribly disappointed in the quality of the questions asked, but I guess that is to be expected with a room full of star struck college students. Afterward, we met up with him at Waterworks (a pseudo-indie college bar) and had drinks and talked about all sorts of bullshit. The beginning of that made me want to leave, but by the end I was having some fun... once he got off his rants about the film industry. There were some pretty entertaining moments... but he was still just a dude... *shrugs*... he just happened to be pretty witty at moments and be in some movies. Of course if it had been someone that I am really really enamored with, I would probably have a completely different perspective of the night. All in all, an experience I'm glad I have.
