Whoop!
So last night my nephew comes into my room and I'm playing, what else, Skinny Puppy, and he says "damn you." "for what?" "for getting me into Industrial Music." "cool." Ah another convert (: He claims he's going to get me into rap, but I told him I seriously doubt it.
See last month his dad sent him a iPod shuffle an I borrowed it for a few days and threw on about 100 songs to take with me when I went to work the door at a club/event. I never bothered to removed any of the songs, so I guess he's been listening to them. (He only had like 20 songs on the iPod that he bought.)
Anyway. I really think it's cool that he was open to listening to it. All this time I thought he'd simply kept going o the beginning when his music was done.
Oh, did I mention I got my keyboard yesterday? I've played with Reason a bit, but I haven't done the tutorial yet. I did lay down a sparse but cool drum loop.
I think I'll remakeSkinny Puppy's Dead Lines, the music at least. It's fairly simple and it'll give me something to try technically. I'll just update the sounds and all.
