You know me, B...I LOVED Star Wars and still have a big soft spot for the franchise, but Lucas has turned the movies into caricatures.
I think Ridley Scott or James Cameron may have been able to pull these movies off...they both know epics and movies heavy on special effects. I don't know about Cameron, but I think Scott would have treated the series with the reverance and respect it deserved.
