Oh I am stuffed
My mama makes the best food ever. Seanny and his friend Evan from Marin came over. My three brothers ran around like they had just escaped the demon dogs of Hades.
I had a beer as well, dozed in front of the television as a bad movie played, fantasized of having an entire wardrobe of 20's, 30's and 40's clothes, perfect shining finger curls, smooth even tone skinny legs, and a knack for the Charleston.
I'd have a flask in my silk nylons, a collection of tortoiseshell cigarette holders. Billie Holiday and Jellyroll Morton inviting me to their shows.
In a stunning Bentley I'd drive to a private beach, where to write pages and pages of tastless tripe, that bored housewives would snatch up and pay top dollar for.
I'd explore Cuba, Chile, Brazil, New Zealand, Egypt, India, Japan, Spain, Algeria, Morrocco, and everything inbetween.
Then I'd stop off at home in France to pose for Man Ray. Before I set off again.

When Ed Weston lived down in Mexico, he shared a flat w. Tina Modotti and a few others. He and Diego Rivera would go down to the local arena and get drunk on cheap cervaza and watch the young matadors and the ensuing feistas and he'd finish off the day looking at the clouds or the night watching the stars or something while Diego went off to get in fist/gunfights. And while hard times came and went like they always do, that, to me, is about as Dharma Bums a biographico-historical moment i know of.

That brings up an interesting thought... There just aren't enough flappers these days.

I need to go Dharma Bums style. This whole being a productive member of society is really cramping my style...
