My late mother used to cook pigs brains. She would boil them whole in a pot and foamy scum would form around the edge of the brain. It looked like something from a horror film. Nothing would convince me to try it...

I have had frogs legs, which I can compare to chicken left in a pond for the chicken flavour to soak away and the pond flavour to soak in. Were it not for an excellent garlic sauce, I would have left them on the plate.

I love haggis and some vile things go into that...
