Against all popular advice, I have been working 12 to 14 hours shifts. Wow. I sure hope my cheque shows this was worth it. A side effect is, however, that I discovered how appealing a night shift can be. It's quieter, and slower, and the people are more willing to goof about between calls. I may switch one day. Again. Not sure yet. Heh.
I hope everyone here has been doing well. It's been a week again hasn't it? I'm sorry. I'm just gonna stop promising to update more until this streak of overtime is done with. It's hard to pass up, it's almost never offered in my department and now that it's flowing like wine, I wanna drink what I can. And it looks good on me that I'm helping. So. New things to say... I promise I will update more... once overtime is done with and life returns to normal.
The good news lately is that my computer has gotten happy with the internet and they seem to have made up. It turns out that when a big cable television company wants to monopolize the market segment I live in, it takes them a while to adjust to the new features available, and as such, 'enchance' my already wonderful service. Heh. Yah... for now, it's stable, and quite fast. Nearing 3Mbps speeds. I think that's almost... what... T1? Whatev.
Well all, I wish the best to you all. I must be off to bed. Up and out early again on the morrow. G'night!

Merci Beacoup. I saw the slogan, and had to have it.
