Let me start with what will soon be my downfall...



My flatmate and I were out at a local Fry's Electronics looking around at all the pretty toys. Heh. Yah, motherboards, graphics cards and my personal favourite, the Mac section. When, as I was looking, this game popped out at me. Pirate! I saw. Hmm. Intrigued. I like pirates, and a pirate game has gotta kick ass right? Well it does. You get to be a pirate king and rule and island. But, unlike other RPG's or whatever, you have to go out and steal, plunder and pillage, as well as supply your pirates with booze, gambling and whores. Yes. This game is fun! I can build fleets of ships for my pirate captains and have each one out doing something bad. Raiding a settlement, kidnapping a needed worker, whatever. So... I've gotten a touch hooked on it and am not keeping up with what I should be keeping up with anymore. Oh well. Gimme another three or four weeks and I'll have backed off.

In other news...
I get to work tomorrow! Yah baby! Lookin' forward to it. Eight hours of regular pay, and eight hours of holiday pay. I'm gonna be happy Friday for sure. On Friday the 15th, I might get to go down and see one of my female mates in San Diego. That'll be an awesome time for sure. Haven't seen her in forever. I miss my friends. Other than that, we bought a new wireless router for the flat, I did WAY too much shopping for liquor, and I am behind on my checkbook register. But oh well. My new game is fun and it keeps my mind off it all. Hehe. Okay all. Goodnight! And yes, I'm actually going to bed early. Maybe. We'll see if I can stay asleep.
