zyneth this was the smashburger method. get your cast iron really hot, get a meatball sized ball of beef, salt and pepper, drop it on, and smash it all the way down right away. cooks quick as hell. flip it, put the cheese, by the time the cheese melts your burger is done. there is nothing like home cooked food, and I feel like it's always worth the time.
