Help! I dont know where else to post this. Maybe someone can help me!

Okay, I've been trying to break my fever for almost three hours now. I took some pills and opened my window and lie in bed with next to nothing on. I did this because I was shaking uncontrollably.

But to no avail. I am sore all over, I cannot stop shaking. How do I stop this fever without putting myself into shock???

My mom says have a cold shower, willow (a very close friend and mother of 4) says that a cold shower may put my body into a state of shock.

What do I do? I dont want to go to the hospital. But I cant stop shaking and crying.

Stats:

Strep throat - on antibiotics
I've tried advil and t3s, neither do jack shit
No vomitting, no sweating

Oh and this just showed up over night. I went to bed with a little bit of a sore throat thinking it was allergies and woke up barely able to open my mouth or talk.

I'm prone to strep throat and tonsilitis. It hasnt hurt this bad in ages. They are putting me on the list to get my tonsils removed.
