1. Finally got to spend some time with my "friends" today, for the first time in almost a month. That is just a little fucked up, I think.
2. My ex-boyfriend and one of my best friends, Robert was talking tonight about how he has to move away from this place soon, how important it was that he leave. All I kept hearing was, "I have to get away from you and the other people here." That isn't the case and I know it, but I can't help feeling like his urgency to move and the distance he's put between himself and me plus the other people we associate with are related. It makes me very sad, because I know that nothing I love is going to stay with me permanently. Ever. He said to me today that as he physically moves farther away from here, the longer he is gone the less he will care less about the people he's left behind. Is that the tragic reality of human interaction?
3. Don't mind me, I've been uncharacteristically morose the past week or so. I blame todays particular variety of melancholy on The House of Sand and Fog, a depressing but amazing film starring Ben Kingsley and Jennifer Connelly (who, just for the record, is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen! Clap your hands twice if you agree!)
4. As of today, I am officially an employee of MoeJoe's! I am supposed to start great coffee shop job no later than Wednesday! This means I will have a job that allows me to work with a small staff of people I like, see friends on a regular basis, and best of all, work on schoolwork during the downtime! Let's see if I can juggle two jobs and schoolwork better this time around.
5. Fahrenheit 9/11 opens on Friday!
Questions:
1. Ray Bradbury is pissed that Michael Moore used Fahrenheit 9/11 as the title for his new movie without consulting him first. Is this silly?
2. If I started an SG group for Nerds, would there be interest for such a group? (any sort of nerd will do!)
3) Wanna buy a truck?

1. i think so, but the movie makes a point
2. uhm...what should the nerd topic be...or would i join?...yes to both of those
3. sorry...
1. glad you got some time with your buds
2. i don't think that's always the case. i think there are some occurences when things that you love do stay with you. i can't cite any personal experiences, but i have to think that SOMEone SOMEwhere is happy and has someone or something to love until the day he or she dies..maybe even longer
3. *claps twice* never seen the movie, but yeah, she is teh uberhawtnezz..and ben kingsley is quality as well
4. yay! multiple incomes! i know i personally couldn't handle two jobs and school at once, but if you can, by all means do. and for the record, people who stick around coffee houses tend to be pretty damn cool (see SGNC HQ members for proof of this)
5. i'm anxious to see it. i heard this morning a conservative group is challenging it because it's supposedly being used as a campaign against bush, which makes its profits become illegal funding for kerry. douchebags.
other 1. uh, i haven't read 451, so i don't know what's it about..but i think the only reason he would have to be pissed is if the content was fairly similar. but given the productions of the two works, i highly doubt that. so, in short, yes, it is silly.
other 2. i'd so be in..as long as there were other ladies present! *urkle laugh*
other 3. wanna spot me half the price?
