NEW Bad news. My sometimes-friend Jonathan's dad died in a car accident earlier today. I haven't spoken to Jon in a few months. We had gotten into an arguement and haven't really resolved things. I was just thinking about contacting him a few days ago, but I didn't know how to get ahold of him. Apparently he's also going to Iraq with the Marine corps. in two weeks. Contact is definitely in order, but I don't know what to say. When mom died, nothing anyone said to me was remotely comforting. Plus, this is a totally different situation... I'm lost.

1. Yesterday's entry: a friend read that to me, and I posted it for him...

2. I'm so happy that Dresden Dolls are so prominently feature on SG this week!

3. We couldn't find anyone to stitch Robert's face up, but he is now well bandaged. Hopefully he won't scar too badly. I wish my dad had been around. He is great at stitching people up!

4. I wrote a long and important update earlier today, but it disappeared.
