I went shopping yesterday and spent a fuckload of money I shouldn't have. However, it made me feel much better after the events of the past week, so fuckall!
I finally saw Morven Callar. The film has beautiful visuals, but the main character was completely inpenatrable, the plot practically non-existant, and the sound editing pathetic. It was very disappointing and not at all enjoyable to watch! Was the director trying convey that there is no "right" way to grieve, and that you can't always decipher someone's actions? Damned if I'll watch it again to find out!

If you enjoyed "Fast Food Nation" could I recommend "Culture Jam" by Kallie Lasn? It was a fantast, easy read.
How much is a fuckload in US dollars anyway?
