I've shut down.
The feeble efforts that I've made to connect to other people haven't succeeded, or have gone unnoticed or at least unresponded to. And I refuse to put myself in a position to let my wounds deepen.
I'm done trying to make any sort of connection with anyone. Love, friendship, anything. It's pointless.
