the craft show was modestly successful. there weren't very many customers, but at least i made enough money to justify not going to work that day. a lot of people took my business cards though, so maybe i will be getting some calls to do shows at people's houses.
i hate bargaining. i refuse to do it. one lady looked at a bracelet and said "i don't know if i can go that high..." i didn't say anything. she didn't buy the bracelet, and i didn't mind. i wasn't going to offer it to her for less than it's worth just because she did not wish to pay that amount of money. it's not as if she's special in the world-- Nobody wants to pay for anything. i'm sure everyone would rather get things for free. but handmade, one-of-a-kind jewelry is going to cost a little more than what you can get at Claire's. sorry.
i cannot wait to move to las vegas. there is a salon there that i would love to work at, but it's pointless to contact them now about it... i wouldn't be in town until june.
i keep trying to reduce the amount of stuff i own. i love that show Clean Sweep. except, unlike the people on that show, whose houses are literally full with junk, i don't have much 'junk.' everything i have is useful and i need most of it.
does anyone have strategies for reducing your posessions, other than burning things? i'm trying to get rid of (and by that i mean give away) things that i don't have any attachment to. i hate free samples. i will never take them, unless it's a free cookie. but lotion, perfume, anything like that i hate having because it never gets put to use.
ok. i'm not actually in a bad mood. i'm just frustrated that i'm stuck here for another eight months. and i hate winter.

I'll call you tomorrow. We are planning the shopping excitement for, I believe 4 or 5. maybe 5. I'm trying to call my friend right now.
