i feel the sammmme way!

school counseling. you'd think there'd always be a need for counselors, considering our youth deal w/ so much, and they're our future and such. but education, like a lot in this economy, has taken huge funding cuts. so the "non-essential" jobs like counseling have been downsized. it's sad, really. and it's such a pigeonholed degree that it doesn't transfer to many other career sectors. but i'm excited that i get to try out other lines of work. expand my horizons and all that
