Well Dead Can Dance was fantastic, but I'll have to update on that later. It would take more thinking than I care to do right now. (I'll also have to make a present-list won't I...*sigh*)
So I'll update on this: fatherklyde and I got a new apartment. It's a two-bedroom two-bath with mauve carpeting, and it comes with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, fireplace, washing machine, and dryer. There's also a pool and a fitness center and all that good stuff. There's also a large hill behind it for climbing upon. Needless to say, it's a huge step up from our moldy, one-bedroom, cockroach-infested current place of residence. (Current until October 1st, that is. I'm going to be living with my parents for two weeks, and he with his, until we can move in.)
Sadly, to get this apartment we had to get rid of Mochi. The complex only allows one cat, and the only other complex that was worth moving into allowed two cats but they would both have to be declawed. Declawing. Is. Evil. I would much rather give my cats to someone else than cut their toes off, so that's what we did. I was crying the whole time after we put her in the carrier and Klyde carried her outside to take her to her new owner, who is apparently a rich man with a huge house and a small daughter who won't terrify Mochi like larger people do. He also bought Mochi a brand-new kitty playhouse. I just hope they like her and don't decide to kick her out.
My poor little ice-cream kitty...;-;

Awww, I can't imagine having to give up my kitty. But it sounds like she has a good new family.
