WOW it's the first time since about two months that I do my homework during the right week ! I must say I'm a lil proud, @missy , @rambo ;) It's only a question of time, and when I have no time I can't help it...
Well, I had many nicknames in my life, according to my age, to my look, to my relation to the people who called me like that... Like, when i was in the middle school my companions called me Satan, the witch, or Gothica by ignorance and mockery to my clothing style or my thoughts... And it's not glorious at all T_T (Even if I like to be considered as a Witch !)
And at this same time in my life I had another nickname who came from a funny story.
I was walking to come back home when I perceived the back of a friend from far. I ran at her yelling her name because I thought she was going home too so I would like her to stop. When I arrived towards her I noticed that there was her boyfriend in front of her, stuck on her, they were making ou actually. I stopped dead and I blushed because of the shame. They looked at me and laughed so I said "Je me sens comme une pomme"->"I feel like an apple". What a strange reaction huh ? Actually generally in French to be a -fruit- is associated to being a little dumb. You can say about someone too much kind with people that he's "une bonne poire"->"a good pear(?)" Hahaha what a weird translation ! Or you can call someone "Banane" when he's not really smart. Everyone in our group of friends laughed a lot at this story so thet strated to call me Pomme !
Otherwise, idk if I akready explained Hildegarde but it's an hommage to Saint Hildegard, aka Hildegard von Bingen (it explains my name on Insta; Hildegard_vonbeangun :). She was a religious Benedictine and a German mystic of the XIIth century.
She had visions throughout her entire life and to increase it she locked herself into convents into the darkness, without eating or what, for a long time (that's why Grimes 3rd album is named Visions, she did the same to compose it, i know Hildegard thanks to her) It helped her a lot to compose her music and to write. She's considered as a savant and at this time it was almost impossible for a woment. She invented an alphabet and was a mathematician too. It's so BADASS for a nun living in the Dark Ages. This is so epic, it could figure in a novel of fantasy. And I found funny the contradiction of chosing the name of a nun to do nudes.
I think I'm done with this homework, there are many nicknames finally (your mother's, your friends, you lover's, your detractors..) when I think about it I could write more but I think those two ones are the most relevants here :)
Bye babies <3
