Apologies to Walt Whitman
Captain my captain
we zigged and zagged;
tacking to and fro;
from subjects light and dark;
with such delight
Oh Captain my Captain
we spent all our waking hours
and more, exploring on
on our vessel is wisps of phosphor,
electrons and light
Oh Captain my Captain
the evening was exploration, of
hearts and minds, keyboards and
lives.
Have we weathered the night?
Oh Captain my Captain
what is your intent?
My heart is very tender and it
wants to soar; but it bleed drops
of red, So we must tread very
light.
Oh Captain my Captain
what is our target for tonight?
Captain my captain
we zigged and zagged;
tacking to and fro;
from subjects light and dark;
with such delight
Oh Captain my Captain
we spent all our waking hours
and more, exploring on
on our vessel is wisps of phosphor,
electrons and light
Oh Captain my Captain
the evening was exploration, of
hearts and minds, keyboards and
lives.
Have we weathered the night?
Oh Captain my Captain
what is your intent?
My heart is very tender and it
wants to soar; but it bleed drops
of red, So we must tread very
light.
Oh Captain my Captain
what is our target for tonight?
