Ever wondered why humans believe that they are more than mere grains of sand in the cosmos?
How humans are so delusional in thinking there is choice and will, and suffering and joy?
When all there is, is the mere rearrangement of particles in a whole.
As if humanity beliefs that if they will the dune, a dune will emerge from the sand.
But alas,...

Because our life has a time stamp, if we were truly immortal, we would likely not care... Alas I agree with what you wrote, just got some new ink yesterday that is a cosmic symbol relating to just that, our existence being futile, and we're just star dust, as Sagan once wrote...

It is wrong to compare a small life form and the universe. Things are incomparable. The universe doesn't notice. But don't such thoughts cause frustration? In May of this year I had my first manic psychosis. Hallucinations, delusions, the whole thing. I had never experienced anything like it. Committed a felony during it, and broke up during my psychosis with my SO of 14 years. Prior to that I had lost my job. I was sectioned for 4 weeks.

Ah, I don’t think my advice would help much in your situation, definitely need more professional help. But here’s some stuff that’s helped me - Try to go easy on yourself, eat & rest as best you can.  Spend less time on-line,  around the house & in your own head? I’ve walked more miles in the woods these last 2 months than in the rest of the year combined.  Manual labor if you don’t need the money immediately & can volunteer somewhere? Hang in there. 🍀

You have a job, a house, a significant other, and pretty much all you ever wanted. A remote controlled telescope on a mountain, for example. Your official title is senior machine learning engineer. No children though, because if the apocalypse doesn’t...

Chapter 1: sense and reference

I need a scene of someone in bed doomscrolling on a phone. But I don't want to use stock footage, if someone wants to try that with me, you'll find a way to reach me on here!

in fact I do actually have a barely functional screenplay that we could improv, seems like a fun project. Bit of commentary documentary,...

Here it is ☀️. The premiere of my first, whatever you want to call this. It's on YouTube. It has a star in it. Next time will be better, I promise 😊

Be gentle. Or not. The mistakes are what make it real to me. Enjoy!

There's a tweet storm attached somewhere on Twitter
