I've cancelled this account after more than 8 years on this site. If this site is fixed before expiration, perhaps I shall renew. Perhaps not.

I came to this site for the sense of community that it presented. I'm not the most sociable of people, but still, hanging about the fringes gave me enough of a sense of belonging that I stayed.

I hear ya' and I'm with ya'.  I spent 11 years here and just canceled my membership as well.  The comment you left in "Everything SG" was right on.  This new site is just another soulless corporate T&A abomination.  Good luck to you.

Went to Comic Con, got a photo with Mel, she is an absolute sweetheart.
Nothing else in the entire day even came close to measuring up.
Best. Comic Con. EVER!
