ah. i need to write in this more often. so, the big buzz for today is bush won. im just glad its all over. this certainly was a nasty election. with everybody complaining about having to choose between the lesser of two evils, im a little caught off guard that nader walked away with less than 1% of the votes. i actually did my homework on this election, taking a look at both sides, i even went out and bought Fahrenheit 9/11 to get a little perspective on things. and in the end.....i didnt even end up voting.......one of the many ironies of being a united states marine......
you fight for this countrys freedom, yet you have very little freedom, yourself.
you protect the basics rights in this country, such as the right to fredom of speech and the right to vote for example, yet are denied those very same rights yourself.
oh well. i guess in the big picture, one vote. my vote. doesnt even matter anyways, so.....
