Hiking, swimming with my shoes on and selling gold
The look on my sons face today when he found the cache we were looking for when we were out geocashing was awesome. It was hid in a really cool place where you had to hike a long ways and then crawl under an old fence. It has been raining out so it was super muddy...that made it even more fun. We had such a good time playing and searching that we decided to go for another one...so we did.
This hike was a lot more difficult and was along the shores of Lake Ontario...ISome of the terrrain was rough and there were a lot of cliffs...It took us a while to find that one...but when we did my son was happy b/c he took a trading card of some sort...it looked like it was from Japan.... After we found the cache we thought it would be a good idea to go for a swim...so we climbed down a large bank and went skinny dipping in the Lake...
I always skinny dip...but with my shoes on..It freaks me out to touch the bottom where I can not see. I have always been like this since I can remember. When we were swimming something hit my leg and I almost drowned my 9 year old son by climbing on top of him. I think he can save me from anything b/c he thinks he is just like the Crock Hunter...anyway..we had a really good time. When we got back to our Jeep It was 4:30. We left the house at 9:30 and the day just flew...we thought it would be around 1pm...good thing we had water and a couple of apples.
When I got home i had my last commission check in the mail from my former job...and it was only about $1500 bucks short. I am screwed...I dont knnow if I should take this guy to court or what...I need that money to pay my bills etc. So I thought maybe I should sell some gold coins (eagles) that I have to cover that money....I have about 25 of them..so I thought I could sell a a couple and be all set. I have no idea where you sell those..I took them to a pawn shop and I laughed at what they guy was going to give me for them...there has to be a place that takes them....I should look up coin shops or dealers in the phone book...that would be a good place to start...why didnt I think of that????
