I haven't felt the urge to update in forever, but I had to let y'all know about a new favorite band. It's the Hacienda Brothers. i did sound for them on Sunday and they were definitely the best of seven for the day. Big Sandy and his Flyrite Boys were fantastic on Saturday, but I knew they would be! Hacienda brothers were a pleasant surprise- country, folk, rock, western swing, blues with some soul thrown in for good measure. Fantastic musicianship and true showmanship. Really inspired me to want to give more when i play. You must see them if you're in L.A. That's my testimonial. Cheers!
