I don't know how people can keep living in the northern states.
This is further south for me. I spent most of my life living in upstate NY. Rochester, as a matter of fact. I do NOT miss frost bite warnings and six feet of snow in a single night!
Mind you, it's still too damn cold here for me. I was born in Hawaii. For the first five years of my life, winter was 50 degrees and a light jacket.
Trust me some day when I finally manage to finish a damn book, and get the damn thing published, and consequently become rich and shameless...........my ass is off to Hawaii, never to return!
I really do hate the cold. We moved to NY when Iw as 5, in January, and I promptly got pneumonia. Thatw as my welcome to the continental US. LOL
On the upside, I remember the first time I saw snow! I still think it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen!
....now, if only you could have snow AND have it be 50 degrees. Tell the Physicists to get to work!
