The Toronto Fan Expo 2006 has come and gone. The show was excellent this year except for the mascarade. This was the first time I'd attended the mascarade. It was not what I expected, being dominated by teenaged anime fans. Most of the people with the best costumes didn't even attend the mascarade, let alone participate.
I'll post some more pics later, for now, here's a so-so pic of my costume (with the stunned against the wall look). The flash really kills my makeup job.

The Festival of Fear section of the show was once again the best part. I met Peter Mihaichuk, a macabre photographer and member of the Royal Sarcophagus Society. Peter was taking pictures for Rue Morgue Magazine at the show. His outstanding artwork inpired me to do a self portrait using photographs and photoshop.
